Ready to make a statement? This bold, mixed-metal ring is designed to turn heads! A gorgeous golden nugget sits proudly on a wide, line-textured sterling silver band, giving it that perfect blend of refined and edgy.
The nugget is made from clean offcuts of recycled silver, melted down to naturally form an organic pebble shape. I’ve then fused 24-carat gold foil onto the nugget using a traditional technique called Keum-Boo. This method offers an affordable way to achieve that rich, golden look without compromising on quality.
The golden nugget has a beautifully raw, matte finish, giving the ring an artisanal feel that’s both polished and rustic. Its combination of silver and gold makes it easy to pair with other jewellery, adding a unique touch to any outfit—whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual.
What is Keum- Boo?
Keum-Boo (pronounced kum-boo) means “attached gold” in Korean. It’s an ancient technique used to bond 24k gold to fine silver through heat and pressure, creating a permanent, luxurious layer of gold that’s much thicker than plating.
